Israeli “Arkia” air company will carry out a direct flight Tel Aviv-Yerevan for the first time on June 04

Arcia Israeli “Arkia” air company will carry out a direct flight Tel Aviv-Yerevan for the first time on June 04, informed the office of the company. Though the opening of the flight was not officially declared yet, tickets are already being sold at quite affordable price of 540 $ per person, that really gives an opportunity to many Armenians to visit their homeland. One flight is planned per week – every Tuesday midnight and return flight to Tel Aviv on Wednesday early morning.

“Arkia” is planning to sell tour packages and bring more tourists to Armenia.

Surely, Armenians in Israel are very happy for the fact of strengthening Armenian-Jewish business relationships and the existence of 2 air companies will create a strong competitive field and the ticket prices will decrease that will also support to the future development of business connections between the two nations. 

Now, the Armenian “Armavia” company has one flight per week and no tickets are sold in Israel since March. According to the travel agencies of the country, there is no news yet but “Armavia” has promised to update the flight schedules.
