On November 11, the President of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan met with the heads of the diplomatic representations of the EU member countries accredited in Armenia.
During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held on various issues regarding the Armenia-EU partnership and the deepening of relations at the parliamentary level. The discussions focused on the ongoing democratic reforms in Armenia, the peace process established between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and regional developments.
Alen Simonyan also drew the ambassadors’ attention to the problems of the captives being in Azerbaijan, illegally held and considered missing persons there.
The RA NA President also answered the questions of interest asked by the ambassadors of the EU member countries.
