On June 13, the RA NA President Alen Simonyan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to Armenia Mohammad Tareq Ali Al-Oraifan.
Congratulating the Ambassador on assuming the office, the RA NA President expressed hope that during the latter’s tenure, the relations between Armenia and Kuwait will gain new momentum, encompassing various spheres. Ambassador Tareq Ali Al-Oraifan in his turn thanked Alen Simonyan for reception, assuring him that he will make maximum efforts to further develop and deepen the bilateral relations.
During the meeting the interlocutors also touched upon other topics of bilateral interest, particularly, issues regarding the regional stability and the problem of the captives, illegally held and missing persons being Azerbaijan.
