Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, held a meeting with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Singapore, Vivian Balakrishnan. The meeting was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.
The two ministers discussed specific avenues for enhancing cooperation between Armenia and Singapore and enriching the bilateral agenda. Both sides emphasized their readiness to explore new opportunities for collaboration through high-level mutual visits and inter-ministerial consultations.
Ministers Mirzoyan and Balakrishnan also explored potential avenues for promoting trade, business ties, and people-to-people contacts.
The meeting also addressed issues of cooperation within multilateral platforms.
The heads of the foreign ministries of Armenia and Singapore exchanged views on developments in the South Caucasus region. Minister Mirzoyan presented the peace agenda pursued by the Government of Armenia, as well as the existing challenges and the continued efforts to address them.
