The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Sargis Khandanyan, the members of the Armenia-USA Friendship Group Arusyak Julhakyan, Maria Karapetyan and Gegham Nazaryan, who are in Washington on a working visit, met with the Chairman of the House Democracy Partnership (HDP) Vern Buchanan and the Ranking Member Dina Titus.
Sargis Khandanyan thanked the Congress members for the important role of the House Democracy Partnership (HDP) in the development of parliamentary democracy in Armenia and highlighted the importance of the continuation of this cooperation, the need for exchange of experience in a number of areas.
During the meetings, the MPs presented the details of the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process and the negotiations on the normalization of Armenia- Türkiye relations, and discussed the features of the strategic partnership with the U.S..
