Armenia’s Foreign Minister and Prime Minister of Georgia discussed efforts aimed at continued development of strategic partnership

On November 14, within his official visit to Georgia, Ararat Mirzoyan, Foreign Minister of Armenia, was received by Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia.
The interlocutors discussed ongoing activities aimed at further developing the strategic partnership between Armenia and Georgia, encompassing both active political dialogue and the deepening of economic ties and connectivity.
In the context of promoting business ties, the efforts being made to effectively utilize the transit potential of both countries were touched upon.
In this context, Minister Mirzoyan also presented the agreements reached in Washington, DC, on August 8, regarding the unblocking of regional communications and the new opportunities to be provided through their implementation. Minister Mirzoyan emphasized that this process is in line with the vision of Armenia’s “Crossroads of Peace” initiative.
Ararat Mirzoyan expressed gratitude for Georgia’s support for the established peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and the Prime Minister of Georgia also exchanged views on international developments and other topics of mutual interest.
