The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has expressed serious concern over Israel’s military actions on the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Foreign Ministry’s statement reads:
“We call on the parties to resolve the existing differences only in accordance with the norms and principles of international law, through dialogue and diplomacy.”
The Foreign Ministry particularly emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety of the civilian population and civilian objects.
“To prevent further escalation of the situation in the Middle East, it is important to continue contacts through diplomatic channels and efforts within the framework of relevant international mechanisms,” the statement reads.
