The delegation led by the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex on June 11, accompanied by Armenian Deputy Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan.
The guests were welcomed by Edita Gzoyan, Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, and escorted to the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex.
Mr. Berset laid a wreath at the memorial to the victims of the Armenian Genocide, then the guests laid flowers at the eternal flame and observed a minute of silence in memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide.
Expressing gratitude for the visit, AGMI Director Edita Gzoyan presented the guest with books on the Armenian Genocide.
