U.S. President Donald Trump sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia, stating:
“Dear Prime Minister,
On behalf of the American people and myself, I congratulate you and the Armenian people on Independence Day.
The strong ties and shared values between our peoples continue to form the foundation of stable friendship between our two countries. We will continue to strengthen these ties through our strategic partnership, which will empower both nations and create new opportunities for cooperation in key areas such as energy, artificial intelligence, technology, and transit infrastructure.
It was a great honor for me to host you on August 8, 2025, to celebrate together our achievement toward peace. We look forward to unveiling Armenia as the ‘Crossroads of Peace’ under your beautiful vision, as well as the full potential of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP). Both will symbolize our mutual commitment and generate tangible economic benefits.
I congratulate you and all Armenians on Independence Day.”
