The Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), composed of representatives from 35 countries, has adopted a resolution accusing Iran of violating its obligations under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty safeguards agreement.
This marks the first such decision in the past 20 years.
The Board stated that since 2019, Iran has failed to fully cooperate with the Agency and has not provided adequate information to the UN body regarding undeclared nuclear material and activities at multiple sites.
