Israeli strikes in Iran have resulted in the deaths of 78 people, including high-ranking military officers, and injured more than 320, the majority of whom are civilians. This was announced by Iran’s envoy Amir Saeed Iravani during an emergency session of the UN Security Council. He stated that the United States is complicit in the events. A U.S. State Department official responded that Iran would face severe consequences if it targets American citizens, military bases, or infrastructure.
Meanwhile, following Iran’s retaliatory strikes against Israel, thousands gathered in central Tehran, applauding the attacks on Tel Aviv and demanding even harsher responses. At the same time, the Israeli Prime Minister announced that the scope of operations inside Iranian territory is being expanded.
