Pashinyan receives delegation of EU-Armenia Parliamentary Partnership Committee

Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by Nils Ušakov, Co-Chair of the EU-Armenia Parliamentary Partnership Committee.

The Prime Minister highlighted the active Armenia-EU dialogue and the consistent development of relations, emphasizing the importance of organizing mutual visits at various levels.

Pashinyan stressed that the agenda of democratic reforms in Armenia is a priority and emphasized the significance of consistent support from the EU.

He also underscored the importance of the effective and consistent implementation of the agreements reached at the Armenia-EU-US high-level meeting.

At the same time, the Prime Minister described his recent meeting with António Costa, President of the European Council, in Munich as productive.

Issues related to the further development of Armenia-EU relations and the introduction of EU standards in Armenia were also discussed.

Pashinyan, addressing the visa liberalization process, emphasized that it will contribute to increased human contacts and the development of tourism.

The meeting also focused on Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, the Crossroads of Peace project aimed at unblocking regional communication routes, as well as issues related to the border demarcation process.

The Prime Minister also presented the Real Armenia strategy and discussed foreign policy issues of the Armenian Government.
