Secretary General of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Davit Karapetyan attended Europe Day celebration event

On May 9, a concert event dedicated to Europe Day was held at the Komitas Museum-Institute. Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Davit Karapetyan, and the Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Armenia, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos addressed this solemn event.

In his remarks, Secretary General Karapetyan stated: “Europe Day symbolizes peace, unity, and commitment to shared values. Armenia has always been an integral part of European civilization, united by shared values and common cultural legacy.

Over the years, we have witnessed the strengthening of Armenia–EU relations, particularly in the areas of culture, education, and people-to-people contacts”.

Secretary General emphasized the pivotal role of intercultural dialogue in fostering mutual understanding between nations and reinforcing universal values, while highly valuing the cultural ties and mutual trust developed in the Armenia-EU relations.

The event concluded with a solo piano performance by Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia, Hayk Melikyan.
