U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia, stating:

The United States stands by Armenia as our important partner, and we are advancing our shared goals of peace, prosperity, and stability in the South Caucasus. Our strong relationship is built on deep cultural ties, shared values, and a mutual commitment to regional security and economic development.
The historic summit initiated by President Trump between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the $145 million in U.S. assistance announced for Armenia to implement the ‘Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity’ (TRIPP), underscore our country’s steadfast commitment to Armenia. They also reflect our joint efforts to promote regional connectivity, economic investment, and security cooperation. We proudly support Armenia’s steps to strengthen energy security, expand trade, and enhance border security, while reaffirming our support for Armenia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The strategic partnership and bilateral memoranda of understanding signed by President Trump and Prime Minister Pashinyan serve as the pillars for advancing our shared objectives.
