During the meeting between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and the Prime Minister of Estonia Kristen Michal, among other issues, the latest geopolitical and regional developments were also touched upon. Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan noted this during a joint press conference.
He emphasized that the Republic of Armenia has a firm position to achieve sustainable peace in our region.
“We are determined to implement our share of the necessary steps on this path, bear our share of responsibility, and resolve existing issues with our neighbors through dialogue and negotiations. In this context, I have presented the latest developments related to the peace process in the South Caucasus and our expectation that the peace agenda of the Republic of Armenia will ultimately yield tangible results.
"I expressed my gratitude to my Estonian counterpart for welcoming the final agreement on the text of the agreement on peace and establishment of interstate relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and reaffirmed my readiness to sign the already agreed text, also noting that I consider it possible to sign a joint application with Azerbaijan on the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Conference structures simultaneously with the peace treaty," the Prime Minister noted.
