“33 years ago, on March 2, 1992, Armenia officially joined the UN, a historic event for the young republic that had gained independence.
Since then, Armenia has remained firmly committed to the ideas of peace, protection of human rights and international cooperation, for the sake of a more just and secure world,” Hasmik Tolmajyan, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the UN Office in Geneva, wrote on the social network.
