Ararat Mirzoyan and Ayman Al-Safadi exchanged views on the regional security situation

On July 8, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan held a phone conversation with Ayman Al-Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Armenian Foreign Ministry reports.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to the development of bilateral relations, touching upon ongoing initiatives and planned high-level contacts. Opportunities for expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including through fostering business ties, people-to-people contacts, and promoting tourism were explored.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Ayman Al-Safadi exchanged views on the regional security situation and humanitarian issues. The steps aimed at establishing peace, the challenges on this path, and the efforts towards overcoming them were also touched upon.

Views were also exchanged on key issues of cooperation on multilateral platforms.
