Armen Grigoryan and Gert Jan Koopman discussed prospects for deepening Armenia-EU cooperation within framework of Crossroads of Peace

Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia Armen Grigoryan on Friday held a telephone conversation with Gert Jan Koopman, Director-General for Enlargement and Eastern Neighbourhood Policy of the European Commission.

According to Grigoryan’s Office, the sides touched upon the unblocking of regional channels and emphasized the need to expand economic and transport routes between the European Union, the South Caucasus, and Central Asia.

During the call, Armenia’s “Crossroads of Peace” project was highlighted, and the prospects for deepening Armenia–European Union cooperation within its framework were discussed.
