Armen Grigoryan and Magdalena Grono discussed US-brokered Armenia-Azerbaijan joint declaration

Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan on Wednesday met with EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia Magdalena Grono.

According to Grigoryan’s Office, the meeting focused on the Joint Declaration signed by the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan and the United States in Washington on August 8, as well as the economic opportunities it could create.

The sides discussed the unblocking of regional communication channels, as part of which, Grigoryan presented current economic potential.

The Armenia-EU bilateral agenda was also addressed.
