At the fourth plenary meeting of the UN Economic and Social Council Armenia has been elected to the Organizational Committee of the Peacebuilding Commission for the term 1 January–31 December 2026.
Organizational Committee develops Peacebuilding Commission’s rules of procedure and working methods, establishes the agenda of the Commission, convenes meetings to fulfill its responsibilities and deal with other organizational issues.
Armenia looks forward to contributing actively to the Committee’s work in advancing inclusive, sustained peace.
