At the General Debate of the 11th Review Conference of the Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), the Delegation of Armenia reiterated Armenia’s firm commitment to the NPT and underlined the need of meaningful steps to further advance disarmament efforts and reduce the risk of nuclear conflict.
The Delegation also highlited the key role of the International Atomic Energy Agency in facilitating international cooperation on matters relating to the nuclear security.
