The European Union expects the peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia to be signed as soon as possible, Kaja Kallas, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, told reporters ahead of the European Political Community summit.
Kallas believes that Baku and Yerevan are very close to reaching an agreement.
“I believe that signing a peace treaty as soon as possible is in the interests of all parties,” the EU’s top diplomat added.
