Issues of expanding Armenian-Kazakh interstate cooperation in industrial sector discussed

On July 24, a meeting took place in Kazakhstan between Armenia’s Ambassador to Kazakhstan Armen Ghevondyan and Kazakhstan’s Minister of Industry and Construction Ersayin Nagaspayev. This was reported by Armenia’s Embassy to Kazakhstan.
At the meeting, issues of expanding Armenian-Kazakh interstate cooperation in the industrial sector were discussed. In particular, Minister Ye. Nagaspayev reaffirmed Kazakh producers’ interest and readiness to expand the volumes of supplies to Armenia of machine-building, metallurgy, and light industry products, including power transformers, batteries, and other goods.
The prospects for implementing a number of projects of mutual interest were also discussed.
As a result of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their readiness for close cooperation for the benefit of expanding cooperation between Armenia and Kazakhstan, in accordance with the agreements reached at the high and highest levels.
