Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Romania

On September 26 in New York Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania Oana-Silvia Toiu.

The interlocutors discussed topics on the agenda of cooperation between Armenia and Romania.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Oana-Silvia Toiu exchanged views on the prospects for deepening the Armenia-EU partnership. The importance of ensuring the inclusivity of regional projects was emphasized.

Touching upon the peace established in the region, the Foreign Minister of Armenia presented the ongoing activities towards implementation of the agreements reached on August 8 in Washington D.C. In this context, Minister Mirzoyan emphasized the key agreement on the functioning of communications under the jurisdiction of the respective countries and outlined the significance of the TRIPP project in ensuring economic connectivity.
