Nikol Pashinyan congratulates Péter Magyar on being elected Prime Minister of Hungary

“Warm congratulations to Magyar Peter on election as Prime Minister of Hungary. My best wishes of success in the important mission of achieving prosperity and development in Hungary. We are ready to enhance the friendly and mutually beneficial relations with Hungary,” Pashinyan stated on X.

In April, Tisza Party leader Péter Magyar, whose party won Hungary’s parliamentary election, was elected Prime Minister of the country, replacing Viktor Orbán, who had led the Government since 2010.

Magyar holds a pro-European stance, while also being ready to engage in dialogue with Moscow. Hungary’s newly appointed Prime Minister also seeks to improve relations with Ukraine.
