Russian Ambassador to Armenia summoned to Moscow for consultations

The Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia has been summoned to Moscow for consultations.
“The Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia, Sergey Kopyrkin, has been summoned to Moscow for consultations regarding the steps taken by the Armenian leadership towards rapprochement with the European Union, which are detrimental to cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
