Russian Foreign Ministry summoned Armenia’s ambassador over 'providing a platform' to Zelensky

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin met in Moscow with Armenia’s Ambassador to the Russian Federation Gurgen Arsenyan and conveyed that it was categorically unacceptable to “provide a platform” for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to make what Moscow described as “terrorist threats” against Russia, according to a statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

“The head of the diplomatic mission was informed of the categorical unacceptability of ‘providing a platform’ on Armenian territory, within the framework of events recently held under EU auspices, for the head of the Kyiv Nazi regime, Vladimir Zelenskyy, to make terrorist threats against Russia,” the ministry emphasized.

The Russian Foreign Ministry also stated that Yerevan had not given an adequate negative assessment of Zelenskyy’s statements about Russia made in Armenia, which, according to the Russian side, does not correspond to the partnership nature of bilateral relations.
