Armenia’s Defense Minister Suren Papikyan held a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of Egypt to Armenia, Amal Afifi.
Minister Papikyan congratulated the Ambassador on her appointment and wished her success.
During the meeting, issues related to the prospects of Armenia-Egypt cooperation in the field of defense were discussed, the Ministry of Defense said in a press release.
The two sides also addressed several issues concerning regional and international security.
