Iran’s IRNA news agency reported that air battles with Israel continued throughout the night, including in Tehran.
The Mehrabad International Airport was hit. An explosion occurred at midnight in the airport’s fighter jet parking lot. It is noted that the airport’s infrastructure and runway were not damaged.
An attack also took place in the Asadabad region in western Iran. It is believed that there were ballistic missile launch sites there that were used for retaliatory actions against Israel.
The media reported that the Iranian side also hit more than 150 Israeli targets, including air bases where F-35, F-16 and F-15 fighter jets are located.
