TRIPP Agreement complies with Constitution: Constitutional Court ruling

The TRIPP agreement complies with the Constitution of Armenia. The proceedings in the Constitutional Court were conducted in writing, with Judge Edgar Shatiryan serving as the reporting judge.
According to the High Court’s official ruling, the obligations stipulated in the Framework Agreement on Strategic Cooperation concerning the ‘Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity’ project, signed between Armenia and the United States, comply with the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia.
The External Relations Department of the Constitutional Court informed ‘Lurer’ that the full text of the decision will be published within three days.
In July, the government applied to the Constitutional Court to determine the constitutionality of the agreement. Following the Constitutional Court’s decision, the agreement will be sent to the National Assembly in accordance with the established procedure for final ratification.
