Two Georgian TV channels included in the UK sanctions list

The UK government has announced the large-scale imposition of sanctions against Russia, affecting around 300 entities.
Georgian television channels Imedi and PosTV have also been placed under sanctions for their alleged involvement in spreading Russian disinformation. According to the official statement, the above-mentioned broadcasters regularly air reports containing Russian narratives.
The sanctions include asset freezes, restrictions on the provision of trust and fiduciary management services, and director disqualifications.
