UN General Assembly adopted the resolution ‘Education for Peace’, initiated by Armenia: Mirzoyan

The UN General Assembly adopted the resolution “Education for Peace”, initiated by Armenia, Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated on X.
“Through this initiative, Armenia reaffirms that education is our strategic priority and a vital pillar for building peace. Heartfelt thanks to those States that supported our initiative and co-sponsored the resolution,” Mirzoyan stated.
The resolution, initiated by Armenia and submitted jointly with the main co-sponsors – France, Chile, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and Nepal, was co-sponsored by around 100 member states from all UN regional groups, which testifies to the strong and broad support of the international community for Armenia’s initiative.
