UN welcomes Pashinyan-Aliyev meeting in Abu Dhabi

The meeting of the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Abu Dhabi on July 10 can be seen as a step towards agreeing on the text of the peace treaty reached in March, said Stéphane Dujarric, the representative of the UN Secretary-General.

“UN Secretary-General António Guterres is closely following the developments and welcomes the dialogue between the two countries, which have long had tense relations,” he said.
