France’s President Emmanuel Macron expressed gratitude to Armenia for the warm reception after strolling through central Yerevan together with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, as large crowds gathered to greet them.
“Very happy to be back in Armenia. Thank you for the warm welcome! As part of the European Political Community tomorrow, we will continue to build a more sovereign Europe. Then, together with my friend Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, we will seal a strategic partnership between our countries,” Macron said on social media.
Macron arrived in Armenia to participate in the 8th European Political Community Summit, as well as for a state visit.
