Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met on Sunday in Yerevan, on the eve of the European Political Community summit, to hold talks.
They discussed the further development of bilateral relations and prospects for cooperation in various fields, as well as Ukraine’s aspiration to join the European Union.
According to the Czech Prime Minister, Zelensky wants the war to end, and he emphasized that peace negotiations must continue. Babiš stated that since Russia does not accept the participation of European leaders in conflict resolution efforts, the Organization of Turkic States could help. He noted that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has good relations with U.S. President Donald Trump, while Central Asian leaders maintain ties with both Moscow and Washington.
