Kuwait and Bahrain on Friday condemned Iranian attacks on their territories and on Qatar and Jordan, describing them a serious escalation that threatens regional security and stability.

Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the Kingdom strongly condemned the repeated Iranian attacks that targeted civilian and vital facilities in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Jordan with missiles and drones.

The ministry considered the attacks as violation of international law, the UN Charter and principles of good neighborhood.

Bahrain affirmed its full solidarity with the affected countries, supporting their right to take all legitimate measures to defend their sovereignty, security and stability and protect citizens and residents in accordance with international law.

The ministry also called on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to take firm measures to oblige Iran to halt hostile actions, ensure the security and freedom of maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, and hold it accountable under international law.

Meanwhile, Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry condemned the Iranian attacks in a statement posted on the platform “X”, expressing its full solidarity with the affected countries and support for all measures taken to defend their sovereignty.

The Gulf countries and Jordan have been subjected to repeated Iranian attacks amid renewed exchanges of strikes between Washington and Tehran.
